Kennels & Exercise

Our kennels have a heated inner section with a large outside run. We provide two 10-15 minute off-lead exercises in our secure grass paddocks daily along with play sessions and lots of treats and cuddles. Dogs will receive a twenty minute on-lead walk around our farm once a day. Here dogs can interact with other four legged residents and enjoy each other’s company in a safe and secure environment.

Our kennels are spacious so if you own more than one dog, we can house them together to make them feel more at home. We maintain a high standard of cleanliness with full cleaning of the kennels twice a day. We also frequently operate cleaning checks throughout the day.

Upon arrival we will ask you about your dog requirements, habits, likes and dislikes, health, etc. in order that we can get to know your dog and make their stay the best possible. We monitor the health of all residents throughout their stay.

Food and Bedding

Here at Skaiteshill, we aim to keep your dogs feeding routine to very much as it is at home. We provide a variety of diets both dry and tinned but if your pet is on a special diet, please feel free to come and have a chat with us.

Each dog will have its own bed with a heat lamp and lots of blankets. Some owners feel that their dog would be more comfortable in their own bed with their own bedding which reminds them of home. If you would like to bring this with you, we are more than happy to oblige. You are also very welcome to bring additional treats and toys for your dog. We’ll encourage the dogs to play with their toys and pop down and give them extra treats and cuddles throughout the day.

Boarding for dogs with special medical needs

If your dog has specific medical needs, our team are trained to administer treatments. Please discuss any medication at the time of booking. All medication including prescription food must be clearly marked with the pets name, surname, type of medication, strength and dose rate. Details of any pre-existing conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking. Please do have a chat with us upon booking your dog in, our staff are at hand and here to assist.

Collection and delivery service

We offer a collection and delivery service at an additional cost. For more information, please give us a call and we shall be more than happy to help.
